Professor Steven Nelson (Art History) and his colleagues in the Art History department needed to migrate their database of digital slides, a critical teaching and research tool, into a new online home. With support from HumTech and Moodle, Steven has been able to migrate the collection into Artstor’s Shared Shelf platform to share it with other teachers and students.
Now, HumTech is working with Steven to help interested teachers incorporate both the image collection and the new software into their teaching process, in order to accurately assess its value to the UCLA Humanities division.
