We offer consultations for digital scholarship projects at any stage of development, from initial conceptualization to full implementation. Our consultations are conducted by members of the HumThink staff, DH faculty, as well as graduate student Research and Instructional Technology Consultants (RITC’s). With diverse academic backgrounds and areas of expertise, we can provide valuable guidance on a wide array of digital humanities-related topics, addressing questions related to project scope, planning, best practices, data management, tool selection, and much more.
We offer short-term consulting on issues related to digital research data and methodologies, like:
- Identify the people and resources at UCLA best positioned to contribute to your project (see Campus Partners)
- Advise on the various options and best practices for documenting your work and managing, storing, and disseminating the data produced by your project
- Suggest possible funding sources and offer advice on how to write a successful grant proposal
We also highly recommend scheduling a consultation before applying for the HumThink Research Award.
