Located at 1043 Public Affairs, Studio H is a space for UCLA faculty, staff, and students to record audio and video. It is meant to be a self-service station (after a little training from HumTech staff), but additional assistance can be provided. The studio includes up to two video cameras, studio lighting, a teleprompter, and an overhead boom microphone.
All recordings must be copied to either the user’s personal laptop or uploaded to a cloud-based storage. The footage is recorded onto an SD card. SD card readers (both USB and USB-C) are available to borrow to copy the files. Once the user has left their recording session, HumTech is not responsible for maintaining and/or storing any recordings.
Studio H is available to reserve on weekdays between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Check the schedule below!

Schedule and Availability
Scheduling priority will be given to Humanities classes that best utilize available resources. Scheduling conflicts after considering resource utilization, will be prioritized in the order received.
Please note that we require at least a week’s notice for use of the studio to arrange staffing.
