Located at 2118 Rolfe Hall, the Learning Lab @ Rolfe supports learning and success in the Humanities through an adaptable and technology-enhanced environment. The lab offers on-demand technical support and tables equipped with MacBooks (30 in total) that have a variety of software pre-installed to use.
Regular hours are Monday – Friday: 9 am – 5 pm. The lab is closed on all weekends and academic holidays.
Reserving the Lab
This space can accommodate up to 50 people and can be reserved for courses or meetings. Anybody is free to use the lab during time indicated as ‘Open / Study Hours’ on the lab’s schedule seen below. It is unnecessary to reserve time to study or take an exam in the lab.

Taking an exam or looking for a place to study?
Students who need to take an exam, borrow a laptop, or need a place to study can use the space during ‘Open / Study Hours’ hours without making a reservation.
Paper & 3D Printing
A color printer is available for students and instructors who are enrolled or teach in classes that take place in the lab.
The 3D printer is available on a case by case basis. Requests can be emailed to labs@humnet.ucla.edu.
Schedule and Availability
Scheduling priority will be given to Humanities classes that best utilize available resources, including laptops, specialized software, mobile displays/projection equipment, other hardware, and special room layouts. Scheduling conflicts after considering resource utilization will be prioritized in the order received.
