Access for Cross-Campus or Extension Students

These instructions are for cross-campus and/or Extension Students to gain access to their BruinLearn course sites:

  • As a UC cross-campus or extension student, select the “I have a 9-digit UCLA number (UID)” box. Then, click “Next” to continue. You should have received an email with your UCLAID from the Registrar’s Office

  • You will now need to enter your student information. Enter your first name,
    last name, date of birth, and UCLA ID number (Note: this is located at the top of this letter). When complete, click “Next” on the left side of the page to continue.

  • You have now registered your UCLA ID in our system. Follow the next steps to create your personal login ID and password.

  • Once you access MyUCLA, be sure to enter or confirm your email address using the Settings option at the top of your MyUCLA page.

  • Next, log in to BruinLearn to confirm access. Note: your dashboard might take up to a few hours to populate with the courses in which you are enrolled. If your class is not showing after a couple of hours, please email bruinlearn-support@it.ucla.edu

We encourage you to set up your UCLA Logon ID and password as soon as possible, as this will allow e-mails to come through from the professor regarding your cross-campus course.
